Wednesday morning early birds
7.15 - 7.45am
Early morning mindful movement,​
all abilities, everyone welcome.
Move into your day, easing any stiffness away.
Half an hour of gently waking up stiff joints, mobilising your spine, setting your intentions and readying you for action.
Pyjamas and bleary eyes welcome.

How to book
Choose the class you would like to attend.
Ring me, text me, or message me in advance - (the more notice the better) and I will send you the zoom link and password. Click the link just before the scheduled start time and ta daaa, there I will be on your screen and you can join me for some movement at your chosen time.
Simple as that.

I will also send you my bank details and notice of how much the classes cost. Once I am in your banking app it really is very simple to ping me a payment, probably less faff than an online booking system.
Currently classes are £10 per hour, this includes a video of the class, available to you for 7 days.

I'm going to run these classes on an honesty box basis, I trust you to pay for the classes you attend. You could pay for a block of classes and commit to your wellbeing for 6 weeks, if you like, or simply pay as you go, dropping in when it suits you.
If you are really struggling for money, then please just attend anyway, movement classes should be available for everyone.
Conversely, if you are feeling the wealth right now and could spare a little extra to sponsor someone else attending, then please feel free to pay a little extra.

I'm running these classes for the love of movement, to make Pilates and restorative movement accessible. I know first hand how important therapeutic movement is for health and mood. I want these classes to benefit everyone. Whether you are wanting to build core strength and flexibility, to improve co- ordination and relaxation or perhaps struggling with physical or mental health. These classes will make you feel better.

I will expect you to let me know of any injuries or special needs by filling out the online PAR Q form.

Because, on Zoom, you will not be with me in person, it is even more important than normal for you to take full personal responsibility for your own well being. It is crucial that you do not work outside of your strength or flexibility limits. Your body will let you know, but you have to be listening to it.....!!!

Zoom isn't for everyone, but it does connect us in ways we have never had access to before. I have been teaching Pilates online since the first week of the pandemic and even though it has some obvious limitations I enjoy it. My students do too. They have discovered a freedom within it.

If you have a good internet connection and a decent-ish camera, then why not give zoom classes a go?
Of course there is the obvious advantage of no travel, so you save time and money but have you considered the fact that you will be muted, and can make ribald comments to family members, or relax knowing your barking dog, noisy kids or doorbell will disturb no one.

If you want me to be able to see you and correct your posture etc, then please make sure you pay attention to camera angles and lighting, so I can see you clearly.
I have a good set up these days, I film from my phone so you can see me clearly and I am hooked up to a big screen so I can see you clearly too.
